Me two of his Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the said County
Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant Edward Lloyd< no role >
for himself saith that
about half an hour Past nine o'clock last Night he
and the other Informant Thomas Holmes< no role >
were coming
from Hampstead
to London
in the third Field from
Tottenham Court Turnpike
they were attacked by
Two Men one of whom is the person now present
who calls himself George Childes< no role >
who came up to
this Informant and presented to his Breast the
pistol now produced and say'd Damn Young or Money
and the other Man attacked Mr. Holmes who resisted
him and he ran away and upon his running away the
said Childes run also and did not to be this Informt
Upon which this Informant pursed the said Childes
and took him but he had not the pistol upon him
And this Informant Thomas Holmes< no role >
for himself
saith that he was in Company with the other Informt
at the time & place above described and was Attacked
by a Man who presented a Pistol and Robbed him of
some MoneyOne Guinea & an half and after he had
given him his Money he seized hold the said Men
but he being rather Shongee got from this Informant
and ran away and then this Informant saw the person
now present who calls himself George Childes< no role >
ran money
and the other Informant Pursuing this Informt
ran after Mr. Lloyd who had taken the said George
