Admitted an Evidence in his Majestys
behalf against William Tomkins< no role >
Archibald Burridge< no role > Christopher Edward Ormand< no role > Thomas Willis< no role >
and Thomas Dane< no role > in a Certain
Foot Pad Robbery by them Committed
in the said County of Middlesex
taken before me One of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that he is a Striker up
the Brick makers in Mary le Bone Fields at the Session of Bentinck
Street and that he lays in a Shed in those Brookfields
to take Care of the Brickmakers Tooles that about One
o'Clock this Morning he was awaked by the five Person
new present who all themselves William Tomkins< no role >
Archibald Burridge< no role > Christopher Edward OrmsbyThomas
Willis and Thomas Davis< no role > and they desired to come
into the shed as they were locked out of their Lodgings
& desired to Sleep there and whilst they were in the said
Shed discoursing with me another say'd that they had stopped
a Man in Paddington fields knocked him down & took from
him a Hatt and five pence in Money at that time (it being
Dark) this Informant did not see any Hatt but in a very
little time [..] a Member of Watchmen Surrenders
the said Shed and took this Informant & the abovemend
Persons into Custody
