Middlesex to wit

The Information of Ann Wharton< no role >
Bridget Corkran< no role > Taken before me
one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant Ann Wharton< no role > for herself saith that she
hireabout the 27th. of May last she lived in a Cellar
in Parkers Lane and when she came home from Selling
her fish which was about two o'Clock she & the other
Informant sat Down to Dinner and soon after Dinner
a person now present who calls himself Thomas Morgan
Whiteford
< no role > called at the Cellar Door and asked Bridget
Corkran of She would give him assistedwhich& she
say'd she would and desired him to come down in to
the Cellar upon which he came down & Drank some
Beer with this Informant & the said Bridget Cockran
and this Informant being tied laid herself down
upon the Bed with her Child & Sell asleep and a
she laid herself down it ceratin she had Twenty
Six Shillings & Six pence in Silver in her Pocket
that when it was almost Dark this Informant
the hand of the said Whiteford in her pocket and
upon examining her pockets found the said Money
taken & Carried away upon which she immediately
got from off the Bed & pursued him up the Slades
but he ran away and got clear off

And this Informant Bridges Corksan for herself
saith that she was in the Celler with the other
Informant when the person now present who calls
himself Thomas Morgan Whiteford Came in
saith when she has been for same time acquainted
that about Six o'Clock in the Evening she went out
& left the other Informant upon the Bed asleep and
the said Whiteford sat at the bottom atbottomthe Stairs seemingly
asleep and in about five Minutes this Informants
