Who being upon Oath says that on the 1st. day of May last a
person now present who calls himself william Barker< no role >
came
this Informant's Shop and purchased half a pound of green
[..] two pounds of Sugar, half a pound of Sago, two ounces of
Sugar Candy and an Ounce of Pimento and in Payment delivered
this Informant a Promissory Note for payment of Money
now produced purporting to be the Promissory Note of the Governor and
Company of the Bank of England
for the [..] payment of
Ten Pounds which Note he has since been informed and
verily believes is falsely made forged and counterfieted
and published to him by the said William Barker< no role >
who well knew
the same to be falsely made forged and Counterfieted
