should prosecute and the other Deponents
Caleb Greville Fletcher Hands and William Sica give Evidence against

for Feloniously Marrying the said

knowing her former Husband to be Alive against
the Statute Etc. And these Deponents Severally Say that they Attended at
Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday
the Three first days of the last Sessions and did there prefer a Bill
of Indictment against the said Elizabeth White< no role >
for the said Offence
and gave their Evidence thereon before the Grand Jury who as these
Deponents were informed returned the same on the said Thursday to be
a True Bill And these Deponents being Ignorant in matters of this
Kind and not knowing how to proceed therein advised with and
employed one Mr. Roberts whom these Deponents met with at Hicks Hall
and who pretended to be an Attorney and as it was very in convenient for
these Deponents to attend constantly particularly this Deponent Caleb
