Company Taken upon Oath before me
Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex this 13th. Day of
February 1775

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
on Wednesday the Eighth Day of this Instant
February there were found in the Dwelling
House of John Welch< no role > in Ann Street< no role > Grays
Inn Lane and in the Parish of Mr. Andrew
Holborn in the County of Middlesex A
Quantity of Iron Pipe Hoops [..] with
the Mark of the New River Company upon
the greatest part of them the Property of
the said New River Company and he
believes that they were received and bought
by Sarah Cocker< no role > , otherwise Welch who says she is the wife
of John welch< no role > Knowing the same to have
been stolen and as he verily believes were
stolen by the said John Welch< no role >
