And this Informant William Pearson< no role > for
himself saith that he Keeps the Fox Tap House
in Gees Court Oxford Street that about Eight o Clock
at Night on Monday the 7th. Instant be remembers four persons
coming to his House & staying there a Short time that
three Twothree persons now present who call themselves Edward
Revell
< no role > als Jones< no role > John Reid John Rand< no role > & William Clayton< no role >
wereThereof the four Persons this Informant speaks
off but that if he the other Person now present who calls
himself Robert Sheppard< no role > was the fourth this
Informant cannot take upon himself to say
And this Informant Mary Knight< no role > for herself saith
that about two o Clock on Tuesday Morning the 8th
Instant two persons now present who call [..] himself
themselves Edward Revell als Jones & William
Clayton came to this Informts. Apartments in
Peter Street Saint James Westminster & lay
there together all Night that when she got out of Bed
to let them in she looked out at the Window to see
who it was when she saw Jones & Clayton at the
Door & a Man on the other side of the Way whom
she verily believes to have been the Person now
present who calls himself Robert Sheppard that
when the said two persons called in the Room
Clayton say'd to this Informant Damn my Eyes
Poll we have been upon the Scamp and the
Crack to Night by which this Informant Understand
He meant to say they had been CommittingHighway
some Foot paid Robbery and House breaking
That the next Morning they both of them told this
Informant that the things they had taken the proceeding
Night they had brought in in Bundle & hit the same
Under the Bed that this Informant went out about
Nine o Clock in the morning and when she returned she found Edward
Jones gone and Clayton remained behind writing for
Jones who returned in about half an Hour then they
went out together that about four o Clock the same
afternoon Robert Sheppard came to this Informants
Apartment & enquired for Edward Jones who not being
at home the said Shepaprd asked this Informant
