saith that he is the Ostler at the Maidenhead
Inn in Dyot Street Saint Giles that upon Thursday
the third day of this Instant March he got up
about four o Clock in the Morning in order to let the
other Informant Walter Blackwell< no role > out that
upon going to Open the Outer Gates of the Jom Yard
he found them on Jarr and the Padlock with which
they had been fastened the Night before broken
two Pieces laying upon the Ground in the Gateway
Upon which he examined the Yard & missed nothing
but Immediately acquainted the other Informant
Richard House< no role > with what had happened

And this Informant Andrew Murphy< no role > for himself
saith that he lives in Great Saint Anden Street
Saint Giles that the person now present who
calls himself John Charles< no role > has lodged with
this Informant about a Month that upon
Wednesday the Second of March Instant about
Twelve o Clock at Night the said John Charles
brought the two Bundles of Ropes now Produced
to this Informant in his Cellar & upon being
asked what he was to do with them the said Charles
bid this Informant put them by & he should take
them away in the Morning & went away directly
that about three o Clock on the Thursday Morning
the said John Charles together with Thomas
Higginbotham at Shelton came again to
this Informant in his Cellar where the said John
Charles delivered to this Informant a Bundle
tied up in a Handkerchief & upon asking him
what it was the said Job. Charles replied that

Six pence of them & upon this Informants
Inquiring further how he came by them the said
