The Information of Thomas Robinson< no role > taken before
me this 21st. day of March 1774

Who being upon Oath says that about three Weeks ago he accepted
two Bills of Exchange drawn upon himbypayable to Michael
Watkinson
< no role > or Order the one for five hundred pounds and the other
for three hundred pounds and on trusted them with Thomas Watkinson< no role >
now present to get discounted, that as a collateral Security (in
case he should not pay the Bills when due) he also executed a
Warrant of Attorney to confess a Judgement to Michael Watkinson
for eight hundred pounds, that a Defeasance was wrote on
the same Sheet of Paper with the said Warrant of Attorney
purporting that the said Warrant of Attorney should not be
put in force unless the said Bills of Exchange should not
he paid when due, that an Execution in lately brought into
this Informant's house for eighteen hundred and fifty five
pounds, that this Informant has lately seen a Warrant of
Attorney to confess a Judgmt for eighteen hundred and
fifty five pounds purporting to be this Informants Warrant
of Attorney, that he does verily believe that the said Thomas
Watkinson has felonioulsy falsely made forged and
counterfeited the said Deed purporting to be this
Informants Warrant of Attorney to confess a Judgement for eighteen hundred
and fifty five pounds with Intention to defraud
