Who saith that about last Wednesday was a
Week one Whitehouse & one Piner two Men came
into the Sign of the Red Lyon
in Red Lyon
Market
in the Parish of Saint Luke
Middlesex
in which House this Examinant then was
when Margaret Thoroughgood< no role >
asked this Examwho
was the Servant Maid
in the said House asked
this Examinant to lend her form Shillings
but did not tell himforwhat she wanted it
for That on the Saturday night following the
said Margaret Thoroughgood was apprehended in the
same House On Suspicion of Receiving a Quantity
of Wearing Apparel knowing the same to have
been Stolen on the Sunday night following
This Examinant was Informed that he was
Charged [..] by the said Margaret Thorough good
On Suspicion of receiving Stolen Goods before
Justice Girdler upon which this Examinant
went on the Monday Morning to Justice
Girdlers & Surrendered himself who
Immediately committed him to Clerkenwell
Bridewell And this Examinant [..]
[..] saith that he never saw any of the
said Wearing Apparel untill he came before the
Justice abovenamed
