otherwise Jones< no role > . admitted an Evidence
in his Majesty's behalf against John
Rand
< no role > Robert Sheppard< no role > and William
Clayton
< no role > in several Robberys by them
Committed in the County of Middlesex &
City and Liberty of Westminster taken
before Us two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in & for the said County
City and Liberty

Who being upon Oath saith that he together with
John Rand Robert Sheppard and William Clayton
about Eight o'Clock on Monday Night the 9th. of
March instant met at Pearsons a public House
in Gese Court Oxford Street and stayed there some
time till between a Nine & ten o'Clock when they all
went to Park Lane Grosvenor Square where they
stopped a Hackney Coach in who [..] ere two Men
this Informant and Robert Sheppard went up
to each of the Coach Door with each a pistol which
were provided by SheppardSheppard Demanded
their Money. & Watches and asked them if they had not
Pocket Books-the persons in the Coach say'd they had
no pocket Books or Watches. this Informant & Sheppa [..]
took hem them twenty two Shillings & Six Pence in
Silver & a Silver Piece of Coin which this Informant
believes to be a Penny. John Rand was behind the
Coach and William Clayton at some distance in the
foot path way-John Rand. sayd Damn them they are
my Masters Valet Do Chambs after they had Committed the
said Robbery they all went to the Hertferd Anns in
little Grosvener Street & Drank a Glass of Biendy each
and shared the Money which they had taken in the
Robbery in the Tap Room in the presence of the
Landlady of the House from thence they went back
again to Pearsons in Gees Court Oxford Street Stayed there
a little time then this Informant together with Robert
Sheppend and William Clayton [..] went to [..] Coach
House and some Stables behind Saint George's Church
