them Subpened in Order to take his Triall at Justice
Hall in ye Old Bailey this present Sessions And this
Deponent gave Instrucons to the said John Canfield to go
to the House of Messrs. John Russell< no role >
and John White< no role >

of Bishopsgate Street without
Smiths
On Tuesday last
to Inform them of this Deponts. said Triall And to Spa
them thereon And this Depont. on the return of the said
John Canfield was Informed by him ye Sd John Canfield
That he had been to the said house of Messrs. Russell and
White And was told by their Servant at their house That ye
Said Mr. Russell and the said Mr. White were gone to
Birmingham and will not be back till Monday next Come
Week At which time they are Expected to return As this Deponts
was Informed by ye sd John Canfield And Verily believes
to be true And this Depont. further Upon his Oath Saith
That ye sd John Russell and John Russell and John White are both material
Witnesses on his behalf in this Matter and withts. whose
Evidence this Depont. is Advised and verily believes to be
true That he will not be Safe in Trying ye Same withouts
the benefitt of ye Testmonies of them the Said Mr Russell
and Mr White
