The Information of William Habel< no role >
Harwood Lassiter< no role > Mary Ann Barr< no role >

taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace in and for
the said County City and Liberty

Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant William Haines< no role > for himself
saith that he keeps the Sign of the White Horse
in Baldwine Gardens Gray Inn Lane that
he went to Bed about Eleven oClock on Tuesday
Night last and fastend up his House as Usual
particularly bolted the Back Door thereof leading
into his Yard that about half an Hour past two
in the Night he was claimed by the other
Informant Morris Swinney< no role > who is a Watchman
who [..] told him that some people were breaking into
his House upon which he Immediately got up &
called assistance when having been Informed they
were breaking in backwards he went to go out at
the Yard Door when he found that one of the two
Bolts thereof had been put back and upon examining
further found some someboard as hock were Nailed on the outside before a little a wrapping aforesd & taken away and that same of Glass had been taken out of
the levelsaid Window near the said Door by which
means this Informant concludes & verily believes
that some person or persons must have put their
Ann therein order to Push back the said
Bolt That being Informed the partys hard escaped
over the Yard Wall this Informant with others
from one Wall to another thorough different Neighbour
Yards untill they came to the Yard of the other
Informant Harwood Lassiter which is about
ten or eleven Walls distant from this Informants
Yard and they there found the two person now present
who call themselves Thomas Dennis< no role > and Thomas
Hopkins
< no role > concealed behind some Deals whom they
apprehended at which time the said two persons appeared
very much confused both cryed and both of them begged
