To Give his Evidence before the Grand Jury as aforesaid and also on
Friday last when he was Examined before them and this Deponent
further Saith he hath since heard and believes that the sd. Robert
Simmonds< no role > James Bishop< no role > and Ann Allen< no role > were Tryed at the old
Bailey upon the said first mentioned indictment on Thursday
last during the time that this Deponent was Attending at
Hickis Hall in Order to give Evidence agaisnt them before the
Grand Jury as aforesaid And this Deponent further Saith that
he did not absent himself from the Old Bailey at the time the
said Prisoner were Tryed wilfully or out of any favor or Affection
to any of the said Prisoners or to Avoid giving his Testimony
concerning them but that his not Attending was merely thro'
Ignorance of any Bill of Indictment being found against them
and for no other reason or on Any other account or pretence what [..]
