The Information of Thomas Wigmore< no role > taken before
me this third day of January 1774 .

Who being upon Oath says that he knews John Trusty< no role > William Sheen< no role >
and John Butcher< no role > now present, and John Doughty< no role > now at large. Says that
on Saturday night last the said John Trusty William Sheen John Butcher
and this Informant Stole out of Hosiers Shop in a Street near Ratcliffe
Highway [..] several Pair of Worsted Stockings now produced, Says Sheen
broke the Shop window with a Knife and Trusty and Sheen took the Stocking
whilst this Informant and the said John Butcher stood at a distance with
a Bundle of Stolen Goods. Says that about half an hour before the last mentioned
Robbery the said John Trusty William SheenandJohn Butcher and this In-
formant Stole out of a Sales shop the further end of Wapping several Pair
of Mens Shoes and several Handkerchiefs now produced, says the Street
door was standing open and the said Butcher went into the Passage, Jumped
over attatch into the Shop and took the things before mentioned at three
different times. Says when the said Trusty, Sheen, and Butcher, were
Stopped by the Jew in offering the above Goods to Sale, this Informant was
waiting at the Angel Publick House at Devonshire Steps . Says
that about two months ago about seven o'Clock in the evening the
said John Doughty, John Trusty, and this Informant Stole out of a Broker
Shop in Whitecross Street Six Knives and five Forks with Silver handles
in a new black case, says the said Trusty took them out of the Shop
whilst this Informant and Doughty stood at the door. Says the said Trusty
Afterwards had them and said he had sold them to John Hartley< no role > for
five Shillings and three pence.
