Middlesex to wit


The Information of John
Bacon
< no role > Sybella Potten< no role > John Field< no role > and Thomas
Lyon
< no role > taken before me one of
his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first this
Informant John Bacon< no role > for himself saith that
last Night between Nine and Ten o Clock he met with
a person now present who calls herself Mary Frances
in High Holborn and went with her to Drink at
public House where they made an Agreement to go
together to the House of Cornelins Haley< no role > in Church
Street Saint Giles in the fields where they went to
Bed together and this Informant had in his Breeches
Pockets when he went into the said Room Fourteen
Guinea in Gold that the said Mary Frances made
the Room door fast with a piece of String that nobody
might break in upon them and this Informant put
his Breeches between the Bed and the Sacking & he
soundropt asleep and a little after Eleven o' Clock he
was awaked by Sybella Pottle< no role > a Servant in the House
[..] he told him that the young Woman was
going away and asked him if he had last any thing
upon which this Informant Immediately Jumped
out of Bed and looked in the place for his Breeches
but found they were gone and upon looking about the
Room found them in one Corner and upon Searching
his Pockets the Fourteen Guinea were taken
away and only Nine pence left says that the watch
was called and two Guineas were found in the Room one
upon the Bed & another upon the Floor upon which
she was Conveyed to the Watch house [..] where
she declared she had no money only a Sixpence & few
half pence but upon he being searched in the presence
of this Informant Four Guineas were found concealed
[..] ned use in her pettycoat

And this Informant Sybella Potten for herself
saith that she is a Servant in the House of Cornelins Heley< no role >
