that about Ten o Clock last Night the other Informant
John Bacon< no role > & Mary Franter< no role > came to her Masters
House in Church Street St Giles & paid One Shilling for
their Bed and went up Stairs to Bed that about Eleven
o Clock the said Mary Franter< no role > came down Stairs by
herself & this Informant having had directions from
her Master that when any man & Women came in
together not to let she Woman go away until she had
enquired if the man had lost any thing & she accordingly
locked the Street Door & went up to the said John Dacon
& told him the Woman was going & asked him if he had
lost any thing upon which he jumped out of Bed and
looked for his Breeches but could not find them but they
were afterwards in a Corner of the Room when he told
her that he had last fourteen Guineas she then alarmed
her Master & he went & called the Watch and Two
Guinea were found one upon the Bed & the other
upon the Floor when the Watchman an came & when
she was charged by the said John Bacon< no role > she sayd
at first that she had only Six pence & a few half pence
but afterwards sayd that she had a Guinea which
she had saved at Service

And this Informant John Field< no role > for himself saith
that he is a Watchman & about Eleven o' Clock he
was called by Cornelius Haley< no role > who told him a man
was Robbed in his Horse and he went to his Horse
with him when the other Informant John Bacon< no role >
told him that he had been Robed of Fourteen Guineas
by Moody Frander< no role > the person now present
upon which this Informant very Narrowly searched
the Room & Bed when he found One Guinea on the
Bed & another upon the Door but did not search her
person brought her away to the Watch house & there
searched her but before he searched the said Mary Franter< no role >
she declared she had only Six pence & after half pence
but in searching her this Informant found concealed
in her petty coat pinned with pins the four Guineas
now produced
