of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County
Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant Edward Bryan< no role >
for himself saith that
on Friday Night last about nine o'Clock he was
coming down Holborn when he was picked up by
a person now present who calls herself Mary
Royston< no role >
who took him to her Lodging in Crown
Court
Pierpool Lane this Informant had his
Watch in his Pocket when he went into her Lodging
with her and in the Morning this Informant
Missed his Watch to his knowledged there was
no other Person in the said Room from the time
he had his Watchin the saidin the said Room
to the time of his Missing it except she other
other Informant Elizabeth Smith< no role >
and saith
that in the Morning he charged the said Mary
Royston< no role >
with taking his Watch & she called
out Bet Bet come down held is a Man
making a Racket this Informt. finding that
how as in a Bad Hands & hearing the Voice of a Man
above Stairs he Immediately got out of the
Horse for his own safety and saith that he
verily believes that the said Mary Royston< no role >
took and Carried away his Watch
And this Informant Elizabeth Smith< no role >
for herself
saith that she Lodges in the same House
with the above named Mary Royston< no role >
that
above twelve o Clock on Friday Night last she
was called out of her own Room by the said Mary
