The Information Abraham Butterfield< no role > taken on
Oath before [..] us two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
the 5th. day of June 1773

Who saith that he keeps a Public House known by the
of thehalfMay in the Moon near White Chapel -Churchthat on
Saturday the 29th. of May last past about ten o Clock in the
Evening of the same Day some Person or Persons broke
open the Casement ofthea Window in his said Dwelling House
and then came into the Kitchen of the same and from thence
stole took and carried away there from one Linon gown
two Linen Shirts two Linen Shiffs and one Check Apron his
Property saith that the said [..] Gown Shiffs Shirts and
Apron were Joned and Standing on a Horse in the said Kitchen
at the time thesaidsame was Stolen and taken there from
saith that the Linen Gown now produced and found in the
Custody of Elizabeth Langdon< no role > is his property and so the same
Gown that was Stolen and taken from him at the time [..]
