The Information of George Smith< no role >
William Burwridge< no role >
and Martha Gregary< no role >
taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said
County City and Liberty

Who being severally upon Oath say. And frist
this Informant George Smith< no role > for himself Saith
that about three Months ago upon a Saturday
he was driving the Earl of Sea forth in his Post
Chaise from Barnet to London that about
half an hour Past Nine o'Clock at night the
said Chaise was Stopped in the Road between
Kentish Town & [..] a House Known by the
Sign of Mother Red Caps by four Toot Past two
of when went to the heads of the two five Horses
and one to each Door of the Chaise which they
Opened that after a little time he heard the Doors
shut too again & them they did him again that he
knows not what they took from his Lord ship
nor can he take upon him to say the Persons
now present who call themselves Richard Gully< no role >
Patrick Crockan< no role > & Patrick Murphy< no role > are any of
the Men who Stopped the Chaise but that the
Person who did Stop it were about the same
Sign and make
And this Informant William Burridge< no role > for
himself saith that he is a Chaise driver at
the Sign of the Red Lyon at the Bottom of Barnet
Hall that on a Saturday about three Months
ago he drove the Earl of Seaforth in his post
Chaise from Bernet to London that at the
time & Place mentioned by the other Informant
the said Chaise was Stopped by four Men
two of whom came up to the fore [..] orses one of
which was rode by this Informant & both laid
hold of his House head that he looked back & saw
