8th. May 1773
This Informant saith that on Friday morning the 30th. of April last
he this InformantDeponenthouse Broke open and Robb'd of Sewed [..] Linen and other things
to the Amount of Thirty pounds and Upwards, And this Informant Saith
that the Evening before about 5 o' Clock one Samuel Meakham< no role >
who is now
Confined in Prison on Suspicion of the said Burglary came into this Informants
house and had a Pint of Beer and some Bread and Cheese and seemd at the Same
time to take Great Notice in looking about the house upon Which this Informant
Suspecting him to be a Sharper or some such sort or Person desired him to Walk
out of the horse and with great permission he did, some of this Informants
Property being found in the Custody of [..] the said Samuel Meakham< no role >
Makes this Informant
verily Believe the said Samuel Meakham< no role >
to be one of the Persons Concerned
in the above Burglary And further saith not
