The Information of Michael
Carrol
< no role > taken before me one of
his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that about 11.01
Clock on Saturday Night last he picked up a Woman
was present who calls herself Jane Bird< no role > and went
with her to her Lodging in Martins Rents at the
Top of Hog Lane Paint Giles and before he went into
the said Room he Pulled her Cansas Purse out of
his pocket & gave to the said Jane Bird< no role > a Six Pence
& this Informant then found that he had in his sand
Purse One bianegen Gold a half Gannea & a five Shilling & three pence
in Gold. & five Shilling & in Silver. &whothis
Informant put it safe into his Breeches Pocket
& when he got into the said Room he [..]
fastened their Door with a Bolt & laid down on the Bed
with his Cloathes on & the said Jame Bird< no role >
with him & went to sloop that about three o'
Clock in the Morning he awaked & found the said
James Bird< no role > gone the Room door Open and his
Purse with the Money in it taken out of his
Pocket this Informant got of the Bed & went
in search of the said Jane Bird< no role > & in about half
an hour her found her in the Street with a Woman
who calls herself Ann Milton< no role > Upon searching
the said Jane Bird< no role > no pact if his Money [..] as found
person who took & Camed away his [..] purse with
the said Money in it as abovementioned
