in the parish of Saint Mary le Bone that on Saturday
Night last between twelve & One o Clock they were upon
Duty & heard the Cry of Watch & Stop Thief in Wimpole
Street upon which these Informants both Ran & in this
Way they met the Person now present who calls himself
John Walters< no role > & Apprehended him & Conveyed him
to the round houses when the other Informant [..]
Mary Stead< no role > came there & declared that the said
John Walters< no role > had Robbed her

And this Informant Edward Cotterell< no role > for himself
saith that he is One of the Constable of the parish of
Saint Mary Le Bone and that he was the Constable of
the Night on Saturday last and was present in the
Watch house when the said John Walters< no role > was brought
in by the Other Informants and upon a Conversation
which passed between this Informant & the said John
Walters< no role > [..]
[..] & Richard Jones< no role > went about Seven
oClock on the Sunday Evening & apprehended the
said James Hampton< no role > & one James Webb< no role > now present
