Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant: Mary Stead< no role >
for herself saith that
between twelve & one oClock on Saturday night

Wimpole Street
in he Way
to great Mary Le Bone
Street opposite
to Oxford Chapel she saw three persons one of
which she is certain is the person now present
who calls himself John Walters< no role >
& a second person
now present who calls himself James Hampton< no role >
she verily believes was another of the said three
person and when she came to the bottom of
Wimpole Street
the said John Walter< no role >
& James
Hampton< no role >
[..] came up to this Informant
& stopped her the said James Walter< no role >
laid hold
of her & demanded her Money & this Informant gave
them Seven pence upon which John Walters< no role >
say'd Damnyon Madam this is not all I must
have mere or else I will blow four Brains out
this Informant had her Son with her at that time
who being about Eight Years of ago was very much
frightened [..] ran & alarmed the Watchman &

to this Informant damnyon Madam if you don't
call him back I'll blow your Brains out but
he went & brought the Watch & the said John Walter< no role >
and James Hampton< no role >
both run away before the
Watch came

are Watchman in Wimpole Wigmore & Welbeck Street
