Middlesex To wit

The Information of John Watts< no role > and William
Taylor< no role > taken before me this 10th. day of
September 1771

Who being upon Oath says and first the said John Watts< no role > says
that on Friday Evening last a Silver Pint Mug now produced was
stolen in his house, that a person now present was calls himself
Joseph Malpus< no role > was in the same Room from whence the said Silver
Pint Mug was stolen the Same Evening, and the said William Taylor< no role >
for himself says that he found the said Silver Pint Mug in
a Coat Pocket in the Lodgings of the said Joseph Malpus< no role >
last Night, and the said John Watts< no role > further says that last Night
the Said Joseph Malpus< no role > came again to his house that he this
Informant fetched Constable to wit the said William Taylor< no role >
that he called the said Joseph Malpus< no role > into another Room and
told him he Suspected that the Said Joseph Malpus< no role > had taken the
said Silver Pint Mug that the Said Jospeh Malpus< no role > the acknowledged
he had taken it and had it at his Lodgings and that he came
last Night to the said Informant's house with Intent to let him
know of the Same
