The Information of William Parker< no role >
taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said City
and Liberty

Who being upon Oath saith that about Six
Weeks ago he together with Lamb Reding< no role > [..]
Richard Coleman< no role > & Benjamin Murphy< no role > met
at the Kings Arms in Maynard Street St Giles
from where they all four set out at ½ an hour Past
12'o'Clock at Night & went to Knights Bridge
within Intent to Break Open a Public House
which he thinks is the Sign of the Thistle & Crown
and they all four got to Knightsbridge about half
an hour Past One'o'Clock where Benjamin
Murphy
< no role > & Richard Coleman< no role > with each a Chissell
Broker Open the Cellar Window of the said House
this Informant & Lamb Reding< no role > went into the
Cellar & there struck a Light went up Stairs
into a Back Room on the Ground Floor & Broke
Open a Small Chest of Drawers & took from Out of
two Small Drawers therein five Guineas in Gold
& a Morning Ring in One and about half a Crown's
Worth of half Pence in the other after which they
both came out at the Street Door where they found
Murphy & Coleman who had been Watching white
they were in the House this Informt. further saith
that when they first came to the House they saw
a Man near it who Wished then a good Morning
& Walked on & then they Broke Open the House
as abovementd. they [..] Shared a Guinea
& five Shillings & three pence each & spent the
half pence among themselves the King they Broke
& threw away Imagining it not to be Gold
And this Informant further saith that
on Wednesday the 26th June last about four o'
Clock in the Morning he and Benjamin Murphy< no role >
