for himself saith that he Rents a Field of
the other Informt. Mary Marton< no role >
which Adjoins
to the Garden of the said Mary Marton which is not
a thorough fare & further saith that between
Christmas Day last & the time when the Robbery
was Discovered he particularly Discovered the
said Benjn. Thornton< no role >
& another Person Unknown
to this Informant lurking for several Days in
the said Field And this Informant Conjectured
at that time that they were a Bird Catching but
he seeing them lacking in a Ditch & he hallowed
to them & which was about the Dusk of the
Evening. And this Informant Mary Marton
for herself further saith that she verily believes
the said Benjamin Thornton< no role >
is One of the persons
who Stole the said Goods & that the said
Mary Gibbons< no role >
received the said Goods Knowing
them to have been Stolen.
