Who being upon Oath says and first the said Roger Jones< no role >
for himself says
that on Monday the 7th. of October Instant a great fire happened in Ironmonger

Old Street
by which his house and others were burnt that during the
Confusion occasioned by the said fire this Informant last a great Number of
things and amongst the rest a Gown belonging to Mary Pritchard< no role >
now present,
which was in this Informants house, and the said Mary Heppingstall< no role >
for
herself says that last Friday was a Week a person now present who calls
himself John Read< no role >
brought the Gown now produced ripped in pieces to this
Informant for her to make two Slips of it for the said John Read< no role >
's Daughter
and that the Said John Read< no role >
took off the white Buttons belonging to the said
Gown when he left it with her, and the said James Lambert< no role >
for himself
says that he is very sure the Gown now produced is the property of the
said Mary Pritchard< no role >
, and the said Roger Jones< no role >
further says that he does
suspect and verily believe that the Said John Read< no role >
did feloniously take
and carry away the said Gown
