Who being upon Oath says that he knows Thomas Gwynne< no role >
one Stevens
and Charles Holmes< no role >
David Philips< no role >
, says that last Night the said Thomas Gwynne< no role >
the said Stevens and the said Charles Holmes< no role >
brought a black Clark to him at
the Swan in Long Acre
which they said they had Stolen last Sunday Night
from a Woman in Lincoln's Inn Fields
, that last Night the said Thomas Gwynn
carried this Informant to one Walley's a Carpenter in Rose Street where he
shewed him & pair of Pattens which he told this Informant the said Stevens
the said Holmes & himself had stolen from a house in King Street Westminster
& said there were 5½ Dor. more Puttens at a Shoemaker's in the Old Bailey
which were stolen from the same place, that the said Gwynne & Stevens< no role >
told this Informant that they had stolen a green Silk Gown with Spots a
pair of Callimones Stays and other Apparel from a house in Long Acre
which were all Sold to a Woman in Dartmouth
Street Westminster
by a
Girl that Gwynne lived with, says that about February or March last he brought
3 Tea Boards Etc small Ten Canister of the said David Philips< no role >
and one Dalmon
who is since transported which they said they had stolen in Oxford Broad
that about the same time he bought 3 Violins of the said David Philips< no role >
&
Dolman one of which he sold to a Carpenter and another to Galzier
says that he bought a large Bible which was found since at a house
in Martlett Court of a Man near Lincoln's Inn
a great while age
and has since had it fresh bound
