Compton last Night a little past Six o'Clock
were going through King's Square Court as the
Parish of St Anne this Informt. John Life< no role >
saw two persons now present who call themselves
Richd. Colman & Thos. Ogelby< no role > & another person
unknown to this Informt. running within about
three Doors of the other Informts. Susanah Jones
House &knowing the said Richard Coleman< no role >
hearing an Outery of Stop Thief this Informt
& the said Thos. Compton pursued theme & [..]
Under Mr. Hammonds Lamp< no role > a Glaziers in Greek
Street saw the three persons whom he had
pursued Stop and Consult together upon which
this Informant Seized the abide Richard Colman
and another but the other Escaped & this Informant
secured the said Richard Colman & whilst he
had hold of the said Richard Colman he saw him
Drop the Silver Cream pot now produced
And this Informant Thomas Compton< no role > for himself
saith that last night a little past Six o Clock
he was with the other Informant John Life< no role >
going through Kings Square Court & heard a
Outery of Stop Thief and saw three persons
Run & he & the other Informant John Life< no role >
pursued them and saw them Under Mr
Hammonds the Glaziers Lamp in Greek
Street & also saw the other Informant Seize
the said Richard Colman & this Informt. heard
same thing Drop but did not what it was
till he Returned back& this Informant being
Lame could not overtake the other two butthe
[..] made an Outiery of Stop
Thief and them said Thomas Ogelby< no role > was
taken by the [..] John Pearce< no role >
And this Informant John Pearce< no role > for
himself saith that about ½ an hour past
