The Information of Edward Burr Giffin taken
before me this 20th day of September 1770

Who being on oath says that on Sunday last the 16th Instant the
Drawers of a Matrogany Chest was broke open and five Gold
Watch Cases and two gold Boxes, one Dozen of Silver Cases two
Gold rings three Table Spoons, four tea Spoons were feloniously
taken and carried away, and further saith he does verily
believe and suspect that Henry Carey< no role > an Apprentice of this
Informant now present did feloniously take and carry
away the above things as aforesaid for that he did absent
himself form this Informants Service the Sunday Night afore
-said when the robbery was Committed.
