The said Jeremiah Tate on Oath saith that on
Saturday Night last the 2d. Instt. between the hours
of ten & Eleven be join'd Company with John Wilson< no role > in
Buckle Street and with Samuel Green< no role > in Mansfield
Street Goodmans Fields in the County of Middlesex who
when he and Wilson were asked by Samuel Green< no role > if
they wod. take a walk to which this Deponent replied he
did not care if he did, and they all went together down
Prescott Street, and went through a Gate or Gateway into the Tenter
Ground there when Samuel Green< no role > saidI knowbelieve that
Captain Barker's Family are gone out we will get
over the Wall and get in the backway, and get some
pewter Plates or Silver ones if there are any, when
this Deponent and Wilson said with all our hearts
when theand they all immediately got upon the Wall
andfrom which Green & Wilson descended into the
Garden belonging to the Dwelling House of John Barker< no role >
of Mansfield Street Goodmansfields , but this Deponent
continued on the Wall by the direction of Green & Wilson
tolooksee if any body came out and whilst he was sitting on the Wall he
saw Green with a thing like a Fork open the back door
of Mr. Barkers house after which they told this
Deponent to come down which hedidand went into
the passage of Mr Barkers house to them, but upon
one of them making an Extraordinary Noise by Accident
against one of the Doors, they thought they beard some
body coming down whereupon they all run out of the house the
way they [..] went in, and shut they door after them
and after getting over the Wall, into the Tenter
