The Information of Thomas Lacorn of St. George's
in the East
Constable taken before me this 18th.
day of March 1769
Who being upon Oath that at different Times he has been told that
a person now present who calls herself Eleanor Smith< no role >
had in her
Custody a great Quantity of Goods such as this Informant makes
and sells, that at the Said Eleanor Smith< no role >
had formerly lived Servant
with him he suspected she might have stolen the Said things from
him, that he therefore went yesterday to the Said Eleanor's Lodgings
and found in her Box a Weapon now produced 2 Wash Ball Boxes, two
flower kitts and other things which had been stolen from him,
and that he does suspect ande verily believe that the Said Eleanor
did feloniously take and carry away the said things his property
