taken before me this 31st. day of Septr. 1768
Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Felix Neille< no role >
for himself saith that last Thursday Senight a Person now present
who calls herself Eliza: Eglinton< no role >
came to his house in Company
with one Dalton and shewed him a Draft purporting to be the Draft
of Jno. Fras. Black< no role >
upon Bolders Kendall and Comp: for £50
and desired him to go with them the next Morning to receive it says he
he went accordingly that Dalton went part of the way only but
that Eglinton went to the said Bankers, and recd. the Money and
that Dalton [..] afterwards paid Informt. a Debt which said Dalton ow [..]
him And this Informt. Edwd. King< no role >
for himself saith that on
the 19th. Inst. the said Eglinton published to him as True the aforesaid
Draft which he soon found to he Forged and believes She published
the same knowing it to be so with Intent to Defraud the aforesd.
