me this 4th. day of August 1768
Who being upon Oath says that yesterday Evening about 9 o' Clock
she was arrested and was carried to a Public house in Piccadilly
where the
officer kept her some time, that she was then put into a Hackney Coach
with the Officer whose Name she verily believes to be David Taylor< no role >
he
having signed a Receipt this Morning in that Name, that the Coach,
was drove up to Tottenham Court Road
, that the said David Taylor< no role >
used very great Indecencies towards her in the Coach all the way and
attempted to lie with her against her will, that she cried out several
times and begged of him to leave her alone, that they got out of the
Coach at a Public house in or near Tottenham Court
Road & called
for a Pint of Beer, that the said David Taylor< no role >
then took this Inft.
through the Fields from Tottenham Court Road
saying that was
the way to his house, that when they came to some, Boards next
some new Building the said David Taylor< no role >
, seized hold of her and
threw her down, that the said David Taylor< no role >
then and there feloniously
ravished and carnally knew her this Informant against her Will
and Consent, notwithstanding she struggled as much as lay in her
power and cried out & begged of him to the contrary
