The Information of Michael Lesire< no role > of Salisbury
Court Watchmaker and of William Edwards< no role >
of Holborn Silversmith taken before me this
28th. day of July 1768

Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Michael
for himself says that on the 10th. of June a person now present
who calls herselfJane Mary Smith< no role > came to his house desiring him to
endeavour to make up some differences between her & her Husband
That the saidJaneMary staid with him about an hour, that soon after
she was gone out of the Room this Informant perceives that
a Silver Watch Name James Hendon< no role > No. 4258 was stolen
which he had seen hanging on a Nail while she said MaryJanewas
in the Room that he immediately pursued her but never could
find her until this Morning, and the said William Edwards< no role >
for himself says about the 10th. or 12th, of June last he
bought a Silver Watch Makers Name James Hendon< no role > No. 4258
of the saidJane Mary Smith< no role > now presents which he has [..]
been informed his family has been sold about three Weeks
afterwards to a Stranger
