Deced taken upon Oath the
31st. Day of March 1768. Before
Middlesex
to wit.
Says that sometime in or about the
Month of November or December 1764. Mr.
Samuel
Wilson< no role >
late of Clare Street near Clare Market
Haberdasher
(now a Bankrupt) and his Servant on his behalf
brought diverse parish of Haberdashery Goods the
property of the said
Samuel Wilson< no role >
to the House of
William Wilson< no role >
the late Husband of their Examinant
and Brother to the said
Samuel Wilson< no role >
who then lived
the corner of Hog Lane Shoreditch
.
That in the Month of September 1765. being
about Six Months after the said Samuel Wilson< no role >
became Bankrupt and after he had passed his last
Examination under the Commission issued against
him he the said Samuel Wilson< no role >
and his Brother
David Wilson< no role >
(who was Shopman to the said Samuel
Wilson< no role >
before his Bankrupley) took an Inventory
Dated the 28th. of September 1765 of the Goods so left at
the House of the said William Wilson< no role >
as aforesaid and
Valued the same at the Sum of £70-3-11¾ as by
such Inventory ready to be produced will appear.
That in the course of Two or Three Months
after such Inventory was taken the said Samuel
Wilson< no role >
and David Wilson< no role >
his Brother at diverse times
took away all the said Goods contained in such
Inventory except a small part thereof which were
Sold by this Examinant Barbara Wilson Amountg.
to Five Pounds or thereabouts.
