That after the said Samuel Wilson< no role > became
Bankrupt and after his first or Second Examinatn.
at Guildhall before the Commissioners Appointed for
that purpose the said Samuel Wilson< no role > came to the
House of his said Brother William Wilson< no role > who had
been at Guildhall with him and at whose House he
generally was at after he became Bankrupt, and
after their Arrival they began to talk of what had
passed at Guildhall in the presence of this Examinant
And the said Samuel Wilson< no role > at that time say'd that
he thought that his Brother William Wilson< no role > and
this Examinant would have been called and Examined
before the Commissioners upon Oath. Upon which
the said William Wilson< no role > reply'd that the wod. not
willingly appear at Guildhall to be Examined for
that if he did he shod. Hang him meaning the
said Samuel Wilson< no role > after which Samuel Wilson< no role >
and his Sister Mary Wilson< no role > who was then also
present say'd that the would not do to go there for
of he did he must swallow a few Pills. when the
said William Wilson< no role > Declared that he would not
take a false Oath for Father or Mother. Brother
or Sister. In Witness whereof the said Barbara
Wilson
< no role > hath hereunto Sett her Hand this 31st. Day
of March 1768 Farther saith that said Saml. Wilson burnt a
Book of Accounts and gave for his reason that he was Barbara
affraid his Creditors should see itWilson
