I. Received your Letter last Sunday as I
was setting out to serve my Church of Lanvihang .
el. I examined the Register Book, but could not
find the Names of John Evans< no role > and Jean Williams< no role >
there, not indeed could I expect it for the Register
Book commencer so late as the Year 1757 My Curate
Mr. Bowen has been dead near a twelve months, and
there was no Register book kept by him prior to the above Date
but loose papers of no great Authority. If you speak to
Portor Dodd< no role > he May, if he pleases, get an attested Copy
of the Register book from the Office in this Town Thos
can furnish you witts no legal proof. yet it is too true
that they were mancid by Barms in May 13 Years ago.
