Minister of the Parish of Hanvihangel in Brecknockshire in Wales to requ [..]
a Copy of the Pugister of the said Parish of Hanvitangel so for as the same
related to the Marriage of the said John Evans< no role >
the Prisoner to his former
Wife, to Which Letter William Wilford< no role >
then of East Smithfield
in the County of
Middlesex
Oil and Colour Man, but since deceased, received the Paper
Writing or Letter here unto annexed in Answer; And this Deponent
of her Situation by marrying the said John Evans< no role >
, the said William Wilford< no role >
look Compassion of her and Promised to do every thing towards preparing for
the Trial of the said John Evans< no role >
at this Present Session of Oyer and Terminer
and being an entire Stranger to the manner of Conducting Matters of this
Mind she depended solely on the said William Wilford< no role >
, that the said

was suddenly taken ill on the 17th. Instant and on
Thursday last Dyed. that she this Deponent hath lately Waited on
Doctor Dodd mentioned in the annexed Letter, who hath Promised to
Procure for her a proper Copy of the Pregistry of the Marriage of the said
John Evans< no role >
with his former Wife, but told this Deponent that he could
not do it in less than ten Days from Sunday last, And this Deponent
further saith that she is advised that she cannot prefer a Bill of Indictment
against the said John Evans< no role >
for the Offence aforesaid without giving proper
Proof to the Grand Inquest of the first Marriage of the said John Evans< no role >
,which
on Account of her Deponent on the said William Wilford< no role >
deceased she is
alterly unable to do; and further saith that she is fully satisfied she can
be able to Procure such Proof by the next Session of Oyer and Terminer and
that she will use her at most Endeavours so to do
