And first the said George Cooke< no role >
for himself saith
that being came with the Gout he lies in a Room
on the Ground floor of his House within which
is a little Room in which his Man Servant usually
lies that on Sunday last about half an hour after fice
o'Clock in the Morning he saw John Hill< no role >
his then
Servant come from thence through his Bed chamber
and in about an hour after his Maid Servant
Jane Rouse Same and informed him that his
House had been broke open and robbed of one old
fashioned Silver Candlestick three Silver Table
Spoons nine Silver Tea Spoons one chased silver
Cream Pot one Sell of blue and white china Cups
and Saucers and one blue and white English China
Ware Tea Pot upon which he sent for a Post chaise
and went to London to Sir John Fielding< no role >
to inform
him of the Robbery. And the said Anne Cooke for
herself saith that About Six o'Clock of the said
Morning her Maid Servant Pane Rouse came
into her Room and informed her of the said Robbery, upon
which she immediately got up and went down Stairs
where she found that the Window in the Passage
between
the Pantry and Scullery was broke open one of two wooden
Bars therein being quite cut out and the other, partly
cut through and one half of the Window taken out
and that the said Silver Candlestick was taken out
of that Scullery and the other things out of the Pantry
that on looking carefully at the Window she was of
opinion it had been taken down from within the
House and greatly suspected that the Man Servant
