me this 22d. day of March 1766
Who being upon Oath saith that on or about
the twenty first of December last he this Informant
had feloniously Stolen out of a Field near Mile end
in
the said County, a Bay Mare his Property; Says that he
hath since been Informed that Robert< no role >
and James Slack< no role >
two Brothers now in Coventry Gaol, and late of White Chapel
hark Confessed the Stealing said Mare and says that
he hath also since found his said Mare at Coventry
, from
which Circumstances, and for other reasons, he this
Informant doth verily believe that the said two Slacks
were either guilty of or concerned in said Felony.
