taken before me this 9th. day of
March 1766

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday Morning last
about half an hour past five o Clock he was stopt near the Six
Mile Stone beyond Highgate by a Singh Highwayman Mounted
upon a little black Horse with a Switch Tail and some
white in his face, says sd. Highwayman Robbed his four inside
Passengers of about sixteen pounds ten Gunieas of what
he took from one of them who was a Foreigner, says
that a Person now present who calls himself Thomas
Smith< no role > is like unto the sd. Highwayman, and appear to be the
same Man that stopt and Robbed his Coach as
aforesaid only that he has not now the same Wigg on
