taken before me one of his Majesty Justices of the
peace for the said County

Who being on Oath saith that on Monday was
seeing At last abt. 9 O Clock in the Morng she this
Ins. told out three Pound & fourteen Shillgs. with an
Intent to pay away the same And being Prevented in
the Paymt. by [..] this Ins Put the Money in the Coach man who drives the Ux brid [..] Coach calling for [..]
Which was in a Green Silk Purse in a Cupboard &
lo [..] the Door but left the Key in the lock And
a Person now Present who calls himself William
Bishop< no role > was then in the Tap room [..] adjoining
to the Ban where the Cupboard was And no other
Person was in the send Tap room or in the Barr but
the sd. Willm And upon the return of the Ins. the went
to the Cupboard Charing some instant the sd. Will being
gone for the Money & formed the Money & come gone
and Imediately sent some persons in pursuit of him but
he then made his Escape And last friday some Persons
who well know the sd. Wth. brought him to this Inst. husband
house and this Ins. heard him confess the taking the sd. Purse
but wod. not own to the Money but said that he did not
know of any Money And there Inst further saith that
from no other persons being in the Place but him his
getting away & owing to his taking then Purse the this
Ins verily bels [..] the stole the sd Money & no other
person whatever
