of London and the Rest of his Majesty's Justices assigned to deliver his
Goal of Newgate of the Prisoners therein being for the City of London
and County of Middlesex

The humble Petition of Richard Swift< no role > This name instance is in set 3647. a Prisoner in Newgate

Sheweth


That your Petitioner was on the ninth day of March last committed by Sir John
Fielding
< no role > Knt. one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx on the
Oaths of George Enbank< no role > and Thomas Lloyd< no role > for buying twenty eight Yards of Cotton
and since detained on the Oaths of Thomas Jaques< no role > and the said Thomas Lloyd< no role > for
buying four large Bibles the Property of the said Thomas Jaques< no role > and also detained
on the Oaths of the said Thomas Jaques< no role > and Thomas Lloyd< no role > for buying a Quantity
of Stone Blue and also detained on the Oath of the said Thomas Lloyd< no role > for
buying six Dozen of Mould Candles the Property of Mr. Bull the Huntingdon
Carrier knowing the Goods aforesaid to have been stolen.

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly Prays That he
may be brought to his Trial at this present Sessions for
the said supposed Crimes whereof he stands charged or
in default thereof that he may be bailed or discharged
pursuant to the Statute in such Case made and provided

And your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc
