The Information of Samuel Abbott< no role > & Robt: Drydell< no role > & Fra: Bernard< no role > taken before me
one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the Sd: County

Who being Severally on Oath say and first the
said Saml Abbot< no role > for himself says that about two oClock this
Morning he was picked up by a Woman now present who
Calls her Self Judith Connor< no role > in Monmouth Street St Giles
and this Informant says that he had a Silver Watch with
a Seal in his [..] Pocket and no other person was in his
Company and within two Minutes other the said Connor had
left him he [..] Missed his Watch and this Informant saith
that he is Certain that the Sd: Connor Stole his Watch and
no other person And this Informt: says that a the Watch now
produced is this Informts: property and Stolen as above
And the said Robt: Drydell< no role > for himself says that he
apprehended the said Connor about four oClock this Morning
upon Suspicion of Stealing the sd: Watch and as he was
Conveying her to the Headboroughs House one Frances Bernard [..]
following him to the Angel Ann and put the Sd Watch into his
hand and said here take it I will have nothing to do with it
nor bring my self into into trouble or words to that effect
and the Sd: Connor told this Informt: that she hadhadthe
Sd: Watch and delivered it into the hands of the said
Barnard and the Sd: Bernard for himself says that [..]
about three O'Clock this Morning the said Connor brought
a Silver Watch to this Informant and told him that she
had foud it in or near Moor Fields and when the said Connor
was Apprehend this Informt: followed the Watch near to the
Orywell Inn and gave it the said Drydell.
