Informations of Witnesses taken at the Dwelling House of Peter
Tomkins
< no role > the Sign of Kings Anns
in the Parish of Saint Pancras in the County of
Middlesex on Fridaythe twenty fourthday of
February1786 Before Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire
one of his Majestys Coroners for the said County touching the
Death of John Smith< no role > then and there
lying Dead as follow

James Barenger< no role > Beadle of the said parish
upon his Oath Saith That on Tuesday the twenty
first day of February instant he was informed that
the deceased who was a Servant to Mr. Thomas
Miller
< no role > if Kentish Town aforesaid was very ill
and that it would necessary to get him remove to
his own Parish. upon which. being in the House of
the said Peter Tomkins< no role > where the deceased lodged.
this Examinant and John Hale< no role > a Fellow Servant
of the deceased went together to the Room or
Loft where the deceased lay and when this
Deponent came into the same he went up to the
Bed Side where deceased was and thinking he was
as loop endeavoured to wake him but to his pool
Surprize found him quite dead and apprehands
that he divd of a Conoulsion fit camed by his.
illness and provably brought on more quickly
