and Seeming by some pieces of Flesh and desired him to call one William

< no role > the Nephew of the Deceased which he did. Saith that on the
Sunday before the accident happened this Deponent was out in the
Fields with Joseph Richards< no role > Cutting Sticks and saith that he Cut a
short Stick or Bludgeon with a Nob at the end of it which Joseph
Richards insisted upon having and Examinant gave it to him and
saith that on the morning the before mentioned Accident happened Mrs.
Horseman shewed him a Stick she had found in the Deceaseds Room
at the time she found the bar and saith that it is the same Stick he Cut
except that it had a Hole bored in the Nob which he saw done and
when Mrs. Horseman shewed it to this Examinant it was filled up with Lead
Saith that Joseph Richards< no role > bored the hole himself the Wednesday or
Thursday preceding

Sarah Wife of James Rose< no role > of Kentish Town aforesaid Victualler
upon her Oath saith that Joseph Richards< no role > lodged at this Examinants
House about afortnight before the Accident happened to the deceased
Saith that he slept out of the House on the Saturday after he had lodged
a Week at this Examinants House, the next day asked him why he did
nto Sleep at home but does not recollect what answer he gave Saith that
on Friday the tenth instant he slept from home again as she verilly
believes. as he usually came in before the Family went to bed: Saith
there is no Key to the Street Door but it is a Spring Lock and has two
Bolts and never Saw the said Joseph Richards< no role > after the Thursday
Night.

that Joseph Richards< no role > Lodged at her Masters house about three Weeks
that he Slept out one Night soon after he came Saith that on Friday
was a Week he Slept out again and the reason why she Knows that he
Slept out is that she did not make his bed on the Saturday morning as
it had not been lain in the night before Saith that on the Friday night
her Mistress sent her to Mrs. Horseman's to know if the said Joseph Richards< no role >
was there, that Mrs. Horseman said he was not come home. Examinant
said perhaps he will not come home tonight and she said she thought
he would but she supposed if he did Come home he would not come to
her house but if he came to her house (meaning the Deceaseds) and
