To Wit.

An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the parish of Sheperton
in the County of Middlesex , the fifteenth Day of May in the 22nd. Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third , by the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroners of Our said Lord
the KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Samuel Horne< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of William Sander< no role >
John Stone< no role > Thomas Basdell< no role > , Peter Andrew< no role > , Richard King< no role > William
Biggott James Parker< no role > John King< no role > William Harris< no role > Phillip Smeeth< no role >
William Enticknap< no role > William Young< no role > William Blampin John
Winch Francis< no role > Allnutt William Downton and Alexander Rosewell< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law, required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Samuel
Home came to h is Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Samuel Home< no role >
on the Twenty second Day of April in the Year aforesaid accidentally, casually
and by Misfortune fall into The River Thames at Chertsey Bridge and was in
the Waters thereof then and there suffocated and Drowned Of which said
Suffocation and Drowning he the said Samuel Home then and there died and,
so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said Samuel
Home in Manner and by the Means aforesaid accidentally casually and by
Misfortune Came to his Death

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said William Sanders< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
