and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said

came to h er Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said

on the Twenty Third Day of May in the Year aforesaid being subject to Fits
and being in the Lodging Room or Apartment of her the said

situate in the Parish and County aforesaid near to a Fire which was then burning
in the said Room It so happened That she the said Hester Simpson being
suddenly seized with one of the said Fits then and there accidentally, casually
and by Misfortune fell upon the said Fire By Means whereof she the said

was then and there Mortally scorch'd and burnt of which said
Mortal Scorching and Burning she the said

then and there died
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said Hester
Simpson in Manner< no role >
and by the Means aforesaid accidentally, casually and by Misfortune Came to her Death
